Holistic Postpartum Doula Offerings
As a postpartum doula, I’m here to gently support your transition into motherhood (whether it’s your first baby or fourth) with care that is both practical and deeply nurturing. I tend to your recovery with warm, nourishing meals, herbal teas, gentle bodywork, guidance with baby care, and support with breastfeeding or bottle feeding. Whether you need steady reassurance, hands-on help, or simply someone to hold space for you, I meet you where you are in this transformative time.
If you’re interested in working with me, I offer a complimentary 30-minute discovery call where we can connect, explore your needs, and see if we feel like the right fit. From there, I’ll help you choose the package that best serves you and your family during this season.

You've probably heard of a birth doula, and while the postpartum doula is starting to gain recognition these days, many new mothers are still unaware of who she is and what she actually does. So let me introduce her.
A postpartum doula is someone who comes to you after your baby is born and takes care of you — not just the baby unlike a baby nurse. As a postpartum doula I might prepare a nourishing meal, help you process a difficult birth experience, offer guidance on infant feeding, hold the baby while you shower and sleep, or simply sit with you in the beautiful, messy reality of new motherhood without judgment, without rushing, and without an agenda (iykyk).
I am not a medical provider, but I am a steady, informed presence who helps you feel less alone and more capable as you find your footing as a mother.
-
Holistic (read “whole-istic“) means I see you as a whole person — not just a body that gave birth (exactly many women find themselves feeling during the postpartum hospital stay or the 6-week check-up). Your physical recovery matters, but so does your emotional wellbeing, your sense of identity, your relationships, your nervous system, and the way you're being nourished.
Becoming a mother changes everything! Holistic support acknowledges that and meets you there.

That support is truly wonderful but there's a difference between people who love you and someone who knows how to care for you postpartum.
Your partner is navigating this transition right alongside you. They’re adjusting to a new baby, managing their own emotions, and figuring out how to help when no one really taught them how. Your family loves you, but they may come with opinions, old advice, or their own needs for connection with the baby. Without meaning to, even the most well-intentioned support can add noise when what you need most is calm.
I come with no agenda and show up solely to take care of you— practically, emotionally, and physically.
Think of me not as a replacement for your village, but as the person who helps your village show up better and fills in the gaps when they can't.

I'm based in Sunnyside, Queens and offer in-home visits throughout Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens. Virtual services, including the Postpartum Planning Session, are available regardless of your location.
Not sure if I come to you? Feel free to reach out and ask — I'm always happy to figure something out instead of leaving you alone when you need help the most.

Absolutely! While my packages are designed to offer the most consistent support, I understand that every mother's situation is unique. If you have something specific in mind like a different number of visits, a particular focus, or a budget that doesn't quite fit a package, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

I offer my services in both English and Russian so if you feel more comfortable expressing yourself in Russian during such an intimate time, please know that you absolutely can. I also know French just haven’t practiced it for a while, so if that's your first language, we can always find ways to make communication feel easier :)

Every visit is shaped by what you need that day because no two days in early motherhood are the same. But here's what you can generally expect:
I arrive at your home with a warm meal, a snack, and a drink prepared for you. We'll start by checking in — how you're feeling physically, emotionally, how the nights have been, what's weighing on you. From there, I follow your lead.
I might hold or settle the baby while you eat, shower, or sleep. I can help with infant feeding, answer questions that have been sitting in the back of your mind, or offer a gentle hand with light tasks around the home. Sometimes we talk. Sometimes we sit quietly. Sometimes you just need someone to take the baby and give you an hour of uninterrupted rest — and that is more than enough.
Bodywork is also woven into my visits for those who want it. Depending on what your body is calling for, this might look like a soothing sitz bath or herbal foot bath, a nourishing abhyanga (warm oil massage), a feet massage, or belly massage and wrapping — all deeply rooted in traditional postpartum healing practices from around the world.
Each visit is 3 hours, and by the time I leave, the goal is always the same: that you feel a little more nourished, a little more grounded, and a little less alone.

The earlier, the better! Ideally sometime in your second trimester. Securing your spot early means you won't have to think about it in those final, full weeks of pregnancy when your energy is best spent elsewhere.
That said, if you're already in your third trimester or even if you've already given birth, please still reach out. It's never too late to be supported.
